Stock items and fabrics

are usually despatched within 7 - 10 working days from the date we receive the order

There are over 11,000 tartans registered and over 800 of these are stock supported. Very occasionally in the more unusual patterns, an item will go out of stock as it is not always possible to have every item readily available. In this case, we will inform you immediately. Most items can be made up and despatched within 1 - 2 weeks. We will contact you as soon as we know of any possible delays over 2 weeks and in the case of some unusual requests

Made to order Items

Please allow 2 - 4 weeks for printed fabrics. If you have a special date in mind please contact us early as we can often help

Please allow 2- 4 weeks for items which are made to order from Stock Fabrics. These include waistcoats, Braces, Deerstalker Caps, Lap Trays, Self Tie Bow Ties and Matching Scarves

Please allow at least 3 - 4 weeks for made to measure Kilts and Ladies Skirts.
Please allow 8 - 10 weeks for Jackets, Trousers or Trews
Please allow at least 8 weeks for items to be made from a special weave wool tartan either an existing one or your own design
Please allow 12 - 14 weeks for items in special Dress Silks such as Sashes, Cummerbunds + Bow ties, Stoles and wedding Arisaids

If you are placing an order which is particulairly urgent or is needed by a specific date please contact us by phone/fax/email before placing it so we can make sure the order can be completed within the timescale

Made to order items, once cut to size, are non-returnable

Once the order is despatched

You will receive confirmation by email once the order is despatched.
UK delivery by First class mail takes 1 - 2 days and by courier takes 24 - 48 hrs.

Rest of World delivery by Airmail normally takes approx 2 weeks but can take up to 4 weeks
Delivery by Airmail to the U.S.A often takes 4 weeks. For greater security, rather select the International Signed For option.

Delivery by Courier takes 4 - 5 days depending on the country and customs clearance.
